By and for people
D&CO is a team of unique, talented individuals. We are fortunate to engage with leaders from a wide range of industries. We design to communicate. It’s all about the client – their ideas, their vision and their goals.

Georgetown University hired us to design a campus-wide campaign to encourage participation in a sexual misconduct survey. A sensitive subject and tight schedule prompted a creative process that included students, administrators, and other key stakeholders around a table for a real-time review with the D&CO creative team. The resulting campaign led to university-leading rates of participation – an example of a design process that prioritized inclusivity and results.

Every D&CO project is a creative collaboration that engages multiple team members. As technology advanced and our ability to communicate online increased, our studio became primarily virtual. COVID has kept us from in-person client meetings – which we certainly miss – but the pandemic hasn’t affected our engagement and commitment to client success.

We were honored to design a Harvard publication focused on inclusion and belonging among University students, faculty, and staff. Working closely with community stakeholders, we designed the task force’s final report, an 82-page book that documents process and communicates goals and recommendations. Bold graphics and clear information graphic diagrams illustrate key findings in simple and concise terms.

With so much travel booked online, it was an interesting challenge to design a brand and website for a travel consultancy built on personalized service. The TTC brand – built on the idea of humans as a migratory species – is both fun and contemporary. The user-friendly website underscores that there is often no substitute for direct human contact.
